To cure it: Right-click the keyboard icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen > select Settings > Remove Canadian French and Canadian Multilingual Standard as keyboard language options > Click Apply > Click the Language Bar tab > check Hidden > click OK |
it is happening once again and I cant figure this out. I dont have the keyboard icon anymore because its ``hiding. so now what |
ha nevermind once again. settings/language/keyboard and languages/change keyboards/language bar tab and show it. Use the language bar now that it is on the desktop and switch to US mode. |
If you delete the french keyboard option, it will never happen again. |
^ if you type gayly, it will come back again |
left ctrl + shift is the hotkey to swap languages, just select the window that's all screwy and hit that, might have to do it a few times. why they picked a setup that can so easily be hit by accident is beyond me. |
at least it wasn't the firefox / java bug that types everything backwards |
damn, now i cant change mine back either! hjahaha |
its (left) ALT + SHIFT |
?????? nope ééééééé mines definitely left CTRL + shift, I think that's the windows default. |
^yep Ctrl + shift a couple times should get your "?" back to normal |
