dynamate xtreme? sound deadning?

how many of you did sound deadning? is it worth it? is it noticeable?

i realize my road noise is quite noticeable especially after a quiet exhaust is installed...still can hear it more obvious

im thinking doing two doors? is it worth it?

just running stock BOSE speakers and Alpine 10" type R

thinking getting these, http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...0014617&catid=

and maybe do my trunk...some day

thoughts?
does it actually make ur system sound nicer?

Nothing is worth it if you are lazy like me.

All joking aside, it is worth it. You can have the best stereo equipment in the world and it can sound like ass if it is not installed correctly. Sound deadening is one of the important steps in achieving good sound. Reducing road noise is not the only benefit of sound deadening.

so i should go for it?

but i mean i doubt im gonna be hardcore enough to peel out all my interior , every single pieces just so i can apply some sound deadning on my roof and floors. IF im only doing two doors and possible trunk space...would tat make any difference or enough to notice? if minimum i probably wont waste the money

deadening the front door will improve your mid-bass' kick giving it a more "solid feel"

dynamat gives you better sound, does not do much for sound insulation

What i did was extremely unneccessary and made the car slower. but who cares, its a gts, and the stuff was that cheap.

and yes, do your doors, roof, and any flat surface body panels.

I bought a very similar product called Fatmat and it doesn't even compare to Hushmat or Dynamat Extreme. I will only use the Fatmat on trunk floors - not doors or anything that is not horizontal. The stuff is tar-based and not only smells bad, it comes off after a while and can get pretty messy after a summer of hot sun.
