Can I keep the ram?

The seller sent me a wrong DDR ram. I talked to him and he promptly sent
me the correct one the other day, in exchange I mailed him back the wrong
one at my own expense.

2 months later, the package bounced back and it says "no one claims the
package". I wrote him an email, but no words from him after a week or so.

Will I get into trouble if I keep the ram? :)

I don't think so. It's not like you DIDN'T try to return it and contact him. I'd keep it.

Depends on the person who sold you the ram... Maybe one day you'll be driving home, and a black Toyota van will pull up in front of you and block you, then a bunch of little tattooed 20 year olds will come chop you up with machetes smeared in their poop.

You never know ;)

He probably doesn't even work there anymore haha.

The seller is from China and the item was dispatched in Hong Kong. His provided Chinese address seems to be invalid.

This is not the first time, I have received 4 free items like this this year. The seller just disappeared afterward.
