go with what hk20000 said. lay down a layer of masking tape, place the N overtop, tape around the edges to hold it on. Exotic owners do something similar to the front end to protect it from stone chips when touring (lots of highway driving) and masking tape is designed to be paint friendly. Or if you're that anal about the paint, why not scrub down the N magnet before putting it on?

Note: Don't use masking tape. Use painters tape.

masking tape is to mask out areas for painting. unless there's different stuff for cars masking tape is painters tape.

"Painter's tape" is specialized masking tape that's "less sticky", specifically designed to not pull off whatever it's stuck too. It's usually green or purple or some other bold color, too, so it doesn't blend in with, say, old beige paint.

If they really cared about us displaying it they would change to a sticker for the license plate, honestly I think they would rather get the $109 from the people who don't display the magnet.

A sticker doesn't allow you to move it between cars, or remove it for another driver. What happens if you have both N and L drivers in the same family?

Now, now, Soundy, you can't go using logic with people who have none. They just won't understand.

yeah c'mon Soundy what were you thinking?

To anyone who complains about our N rules or has a hard time following them, just be glad our rules aren't as tight as Australia's. Though I'm starting to think they should be.

cut out a piece of 3M clear bra and apply that to the area where you want to put the N... voila, you can glue, tape, whatever the N to the clear bra
