she is a female name "MiuMiu"....a little over 6 years old...Fixed... never had any serious illness at all...the only time i bring her to the vet is to get her fixed...
a bit shy at first but once she gets to know you....she will love petting

well..currently i have 3 cats at home
and i am giving away 2 because one of my cat just had his 2nd surgery and i would like to focus on taking care of him
as i can not afford a 3rd surgery in a year or 2 again
he will need to do special diet and it's way too expensive to give them all the special diet all together as the sick one will eat anything ....

I would contact C.A.R.E.S they have a set up at Petsmart. They adopt out cats and may be able to find the cat a home. I wouldn't mention the too expensive thing to them, but if you say you are having to spend more time with the cat who had surgery and don't have the time for her I'm sure they would be willing to help you find a home for her.

hmm..thank you for the advise...though i would keep this as my last resources
i really would like to find another loving home for her other than give it to the shelters.
i guess it just takes time for the right person to come along

thank you so much...

You would not be giving it to the shelters. You would house the cat until they find it a home. Just a suggestion as they are always networking and screen future homes.

Similarly, you could also ask certain cat rescues like VOKRA to see if they could add your listing to their list of adoptable cats while the cat is still under your care. You would be acting as the foster home. Many rescues would be happy to do this because at least you're not surrendering your pet to them while they are so full.

I'm not familiar with CARES, but based on what Lil Bastrd has said, I believe it's the same idea.

If you are at all concerned about shedding, I would not consider a cat. I know many pet owners giving up their cats for this very reason, so best to know what you're dealing with beforehand to avoid rehoming the cat again. Cats are known to shed quite a bit. This doesn't bug me though, as it's easily vacuumed up, but there is a saying amongst cat owners - "Cat hair is a condiment." :)

if you groom her everday.....
they dont shed much...

they only shed when there's change of season...
however, if you keep the grooming up....it shouldnt be a problem
