is it easy to get approved for these loans?

Used to be but it's not as easy now.

It's still easier than standard loans. Honestly, unless you're doing it for some crazy reason (such as you're buying property and you know it's going to be rezoned and you can sell at a huge profit etc) getting these loans are a nice way of making poor people even more poor.
