For what it's worth, I think the people who were there were appreciative. Like the opening ceremonies, a lot of us saw it and didn't like it, but the rest of the world was all over it. The closing ceremonies had a little of everything.
Our POV is not the only one that counts.

Holy crap that ending was terrible! The rapper was having sound problems could hardly hear him rapping at all and that neon dance was just sad.
