There was a lot of animatronix, the props were a lot more elaborate than previous years. You could tell right away it's better this year because of the huge robotic bat at the front gates. They seem to take it more "seriously" this year.

planning to go tmr early and beat out the rush of crowds
hopefully its better than previous years

Just went tonight... 8-11 still packed despite the rain!!!! Since there were so many more people they opened till 12:30 today. There are four "haunted houses" and one clown maze, pretty good for the first time but i doubt i'd go again unless there was a super hot chick.

fright nights suck, but if you've never been, good to go once i guess.

Fuck seriously...I was freezing my ass off that night. Cause when I left my house at 5pm-ish and the sun was still out and it felt pretty warm(still cold but warm) so being the idiot I am I brought a thin-zip up instead of a jacket...then the temperature dipped fucking 20 degrees that night..FML. I was shivering and freezing my balls off and waiting outside in the cold at the bus stop while watching bus after bus drive by since all of them were packed and full until like the 5th bus..

Went last Friday and it was fucking cold!

Feet were frozen by the end of the night. We went to 3 houses and gave up on the last one (beside the arcade) because the lineup snaked around like crazy. Probably a good 45 mins - 1 hr wait.

i knew it

each house the wait is 30-45 minutes, thats how crazy the line ups are

FatalCloud 10-26-2009 11:56 AM

Drow 10-27-2009 09:08 AM

i thought going near the end when everybody else had gone would be less packed...
i guess im not the only one who thought of this

silk 10-27-2009 09:12 AM

My friends went there last night, it is about 25 mins-40 mins per house wait. They gave them 7.5/10 comparing 3 yrs ago they went was like 4/10.
One guy also was saying there is a haunted house around Dunbar area suppose to worth to check out and it is paid by donation

Depends what time your there. I went last night got there at 10:30 and it was still fairly busy. First house we waited 15 mins, 2nd house 5 mins, 3rd and 4th house no wait.

This was my first Fright Nights and I gotta say it was pretty decent. I wasn't scared by any means but the quality of the houses were pretty solid fo sho. The house beside the Fun Centre, at the end when you walk through the tunnel that was dope haha.

I think they're suppose to close around midnight - 12:30am but it depends on how busy it is.

I asked them that last night and they said it depends on how many people are in the park. they close as early as 11pm if it's dead and they close as late as 12 like last night because there were still quite a lot of people there. So really you should just assume 11pm to be on the safe side and if they happen to close later then bonus.

I think this years alot better than passed years. The Clown Maze was seriously a waste of time i think, tooo much walking not enough scaring. Plus i went last Thursday and it was raining and i waited 70mins for 1 haunted house. Albeit it was a Pro-D the next day so there was alot of kids out that night. But near the end they all had to go home and i managed to get onto 6 rides, and 3 haunted houses within a hour so it more than made up for the massive waiting i did in the beginning of the night.

So if i was any of u, id try to go on weekdays cause ur gonna be waiting along ass time to see shit if u go on the weekends, plus bring an umbrella if it might rain. I was seriously considering buying someones umbrella for like $50

winson604 10-27-2009 04:08 PM

^^
Have to agree with the Maze. The only reason I went to it was because we walked by it going to another Haunted House and there was no wait so what the heck. It's mostly walking and you come to a total of like 4 areas where there's an actor dressed as a clown. I couldn't wait to leave that fucking maze soon enough it was such a waste of time.

We skipped the maze because it had a "Out of service" sign when we passed by it.

The glass maze by the hellavator was interesting because it was dark and its hard as shit to see. I was so focused on not smashing my face into the glass that I almost didn't notice a HUGE Jason character lurking near the exit with a giant ass machete. I saw him at the last second and let my friend go ahead. She screamed for dear life. It was most excellent :haha:
