This guy lives right behind my house. I think. Or he's here a lot.

There is an S2K and I think one of his friends has an S2K. I saw this car trying to pull into the driveway once, took like 10 minutes so he wouldn't scrape the front to shit.

Very nice car.

lol my stock wing is the low wing(GSR wing)...which is the same wing as the Lancer's wing... those who want to rice it up will probably go for the high wing (MR wing). :p

+1

I drive between Richmond, Burnaby, and Surrey a lot so I do a lot of highway driving...when I'm at 100km/h it's like 3000RPM in 5th.

jtanner_ 10-21-2009 12:08 PM

you got the wrong car if you're worried about gas mileage man! your car as an evo is performance first, then everything else after..

mpr 10-21-2009 09:18 PM

Stay under TPS 30% load and dont go over 2500 rpm. You'll be well under boost to waste any gas.

If you plan to go over. don't even mention gas mileage. please.

OR...get a tune, I get over...I know its not all that impressive, but I usually average around 22 mpg on highway and 19 mpg in cities. Drink oil like a V8 if you want to step on it, however.

mpr 10-22-2009 07:33 AM

In my perspective, getting a high gas mileage tune is for someone who can not control their right foot. I rather stay under boost load and step on it when I need it.

19 mpg is quite impressive. I think u mean gas, not oil. :)

Damn... 6 speed definitely makes a difference eh?

mpr 10-22-2009 03:55 PM

Not really.

calculating the gear ratio will show you that the sst transmission have a higher gear ratio than the gsr models for each gear.

again. it is how you modulate your right foot.
