I always thought you are white for some reason.

Anyways, do you guys actually celebrate Diwali? We didn't do anything. Much like Thanksgiving. lol.

As kids I always remember going with my pops to some weird Indian reserves and buying firecrackers and essentially having an early halloween blowing shit up in our front yard with cousins and neighbours.

That was the highlight of Diwali for me, but now with the fireworks/firecrackers regulations we don't really do anything anymore.

Anyone else?

Kev

Yeah there's not much we usually do. This year I came back from school a little late, so when I got home my mom had all the lights on, bought some patakay and I lit them off for my little cousins. Some years we go to the gurdwara but it's usually way to packed. I remember one year my dad got us Diwali presents.:p

My neighborhood was lit up with a ton of diyas and there were fireworks going off for hours.

Are you in the Newton area?

Kev

No. I'm near the corner of 72nd and 152nd. Nice neighborhood. Right near a gurdwara.

I thought you lived in DT? I remember you posting pictures from your place when we had the snow storm last winter.

I moved to Surrey back in July. I'm gonna miss downtown :(
