Acer Liquid: Snapdragon Goes 'Droid, Global
 

Acer's gonna be dropping it's Liquid pretty soon, with NAM 3G and all on it. Android 1.6, WVGA capacitive touchscreen and one heckuva processor in the Snapdragon CPU that's been underclocked to 768 Mhz.

actually, its because its a motorola......if it was from someone else, it would have its own thread.....

yea agreed. This is the year for Android if faster devices come out. Loving the OS, but with the proper hardware and a good keyboard (somehow I don't think any virtual keyboard w/o multi-touch like the iPhone will be good enough) It'll be killer. I.E. Motodroid or a touchpro2-like device from HTC

I will buy the MOTODROID when it drops on HSPA, if Boy Genius loves the CDMA as much as they do.

exactly, plus the WVGA screen is nice. I have a good feeling about this Moto, haven't owned one since my very first phone lol.

I was under the impression the snapdragon was based on A8 architecture too, just faster. If the droid runs fast enough on that...GOOD enough for me!
