you didn't write down his Plate # or his License #?

if the other party can't be contacted, then ur statement should be solid and unchallenged.
Although ICBC are a bunch of rapists and they will prolly try to give a 50/50 so they get $$$ from both y'all.

If you wrote down his license plate number then you are safe. But from way you stated, it seems like you only got his name and phone number. You are pretty much screwed.

If you are looking for witness, post the date, time, location and vehicles involved.

And yes, ICBC is plain stupid. The other party involved in the accident left a VERY bland bland description of the scenario. Hence why it was so frustrating to get my points across.
