Symptoms can start within 2 weeks. It's different for every woman, but so far everyone I've talked to said they felt nauseous and light-headed, the food cravings didn't come until at least a month in. And from what I understand, the morning sickness aspect doesn't usually hit until near the end of the first trimester. Like SC said, she should take a pregnancy test (at a doctor's office since I find they're most accurate) and find out for sure. Your mind can trick your body into thinking it's pregnant.

If you've lived in BC for more than 3 months, you automatically get placed on basic MSP. The only time they'll ask you about it is if you're flagged as not having any coverage at all.
