I don't know much about Fido's current warranty policies. But I remember back then Pre- Rogers era they just swap out your old broken phone with a new/refurb phone and pretty much no question asked.

thats was during "rogers era" too. we just recently swapped over to the loaner phone repair centre method.

OTCs were done until mid september of this year

I Know its not Canada, but most companies follow it as a rule so that there is no confusion when products cross the border
