why the hell would someone who wants an S2000 think of a civic? civics are grocery getters compared to an S2000.

benwang 10-31-2009 05:15 PM

i've drove enough fwd, i want rwd now.
anyone know anyone selling good condition 04-05 ap2?

benwang 12-05-2009 07:53 AM

ziggyx 12-05-2009 08:59 AM

^^ congrats on your car. I hope you like it because I love mine. I have the same year as you. What colour is it and how much did you end up paying for it?

shenmecar 12-05-2009 09:01 AM

from Edmonton? I would check for rust under the car!

TheSalesman 12-05-2009 04:22 PM

book value is 20,500 but as a trade in, it is worth 23,000 from the tax savings.
So 24k-25k seems reasonable if you buy it privately.

benwang 12-12-2009 01:37 PM

only 36k km when i got it, no rust at all and it never see snow.
its yellow with oem lip, white works cr kai, what color is yours?

i paid 23k for it

umpadupa 12-15-2009 06:51 PM

hey.. i work at an autoplan and im bored rite now.. so i goldbooked it wif icbc...

04 s2000
$22400
wholesale is $19,600 ( basically what the "cash" dealerships will pay... -$2000 cuz they low ball u)

benwang 12-30-2009 06:09 PM

thanks , i guess i paid a fair price for it.
now i m worrying about insurance

umpadupa 12-30-2009 08:08 PM

BEEB 12-30-2009 10:09 PM

also have to include insurance and maintenance, i'm in no way saying that the M3 is less reliable, but just the sheer differences in cost for both cars is pretty big.

also 25k seems a bit cheap.

Sweet2L 01-01-2010 01:41 PM

It's an AP2 and still has the higher revs with traction control

All AP2s rev the same in North America, the japanese and europeans got to retain the F20C until 06.
