I have an immobilizer in my 98 cavalier, it was purchased used and the immobilizer was installed in 200 chevy dealer. tonite the plastic piece that holds the immobilizer chip fell apart and i lost the chip and cannot start the car. at a



can i take it to ne shop to get the immobilizer hopefully remoeved or mayb a new chip piece or do i have to go to a chevy dealer?

We can help you out on Monday if you'd like. We'll pull yours out so that you can drive again and then discuss if you really want another or not as it is already equiped with a factory immobilizer called a Passlock II.

Doesn't the 98 Cavalier already have a factory installed immobilizer??
