Rough price on deck with iPod control AND Bluetooth
 

With the new cellphone legislation coming down the pipe next year, and the fact that the Clarion deck that came with my car does not do iPod Control (has USB but not iPod Control), I figured I may want to upgrade my deck soon.

I see that the Pioneer DEH-P6100BT has integrated bluetooth, but it's $330. Then again, bluetooth add-ons are around $200 it looks like.

What kind of price am I looking at for something with iPod Control with full Bluetooth Capability (i.e. not just BT 'ready')? Adjustable LPF is good too, I would assume if it has BT it should have adjustable LPF as well.

Prefer the mid-mainstream brands e.g. Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, etc. rather than Sony/JVC (I am under the impression they are not as good?).

Dude the JVC KD-R800 has BT and Ipod controls and charging for 249 CAD, I feel the same way about Sont as you do, but the mid and high end from JVC is actually a good product.

The 800 has only ONE year warranty and...

- NO 4 volt pre-outs
- NO steering wheel control
- NO 2 year warranty

So for pretty much the same price as the big box, you get a better deck and our unparalleled service and quality install!

try letting everyone know what you are compairing it to, so we all know which this one you are talking about is.

We are selling the KD-R805 JVC deck that is very comparable to the KD-A800, with the exception of: warranty; output and steering wheel controls, for less than the box guys are selling theirs for. :thumbsup:

Thanks all, I am probably going to have to postpone the deck purchase for a few months, but good to know there are options for around $250.
