I use the GReddy counterweight shift knob and personally, I find it pretty heavy.

TWM's got some knobs with good weight

Heavier knobs seem to help you toss it into gear smoother. While the lighter ones, is more raw and rugged it seems.

I personally prefer heavier ones.
