shenmecar 10-28-2009 09:33 AM

are those carbon ceramic brakes?

orange7 10-28-2009 11:27 AM

i'm confused..

first nissan said they made the gtr heavy so it has more downforce at low speed, and now the car's weight is reduced by the use of carbon composite. wtf??

Mugen EvOlutioN 10-28-2009 11:38 AM

needs some volks

maybe because the "spec-V' is more of a race trim that's meant to be driven fast? (thus more downforce)

keifun 10-28-2009 04:49 PM

so the only diff. is that the spec V is lighter with the CF?

jbsali 10-28-2009 05:32 PM

not feeling the spec v interior and exterior... eh

ok so I did some research and you're paying $80,000 extra for the following:

-carbon ceramic brakes
-rays nismo wheels
-bilstein suspension
-high grip tires
-recaro carbon seats
-removed rear seats
-titanium exhaust
-carbon rear spoiler
-carbon grill
-carbon brake duct
-carbon interior trim

not worth it

oh ya.. and you also get a spec v carbon key

ajax 10-28-2009 05:57 PM

Ew to the wheels.

mpr 10-28-2009 06:04 PM

That looks so hot!! my dream car is gtr v-spec. it has 550 hp, same as the cts-v.

hk20000 10-28-2009 08:09 PM

ilvtofu 10-28-2009 09:46 PM

Fitment's not good enough. but meh, this doesnt deserve a thread...

Domani 10-29-2009 08:43 AM

is that 80k cdn or like hk? crazy if it's cdn, double the price for the upgrades

hk20000 10-29-2009 10:00 AM

Japan sales begin on February 2, 2009 at seven pre-selected dealers who are staffed by mechanics with special GT-R SpecV training and are knowledgeable of racing circuit driving. Pricing is set at ¥15,750,000 (over US$160,000). Nissan has not announced any plans to sell the SpecV outside of Japan.

yeah it's 80G CDN extra over the normal GTR.

orange7 10-29-2009 11:22 AM

 to the gtr

Meister1982 10-30-2009 09:58 PM
