| Suggestions for Revscene Events of 2010???
So sitting back, being sick today, was thinking besides our annual spring meet and annual summer meet, would be some other events we should look at putting on?
dont make suggestions that arent possible, or require a small fortune to have happen.
so long as the idea is within reason, ill look into it and whats required to make it possible.

depending on the size of people attending, we can have a tbc/f440 meet
or if you're up for it SG, you can possibly arrange a meet with other car clubs in seattle? and we could meet somewhere like mount baker or something

ok, ill bring a couple of things up so you guys dont get ur hopes up too high
1) nothing during the winter, dont want to be stuck in traffic with all the olympic tourists, and liberals that got their games tickets via my taxes.
2) nothing during the winter because i dont want to be stuck in a parking lot that is snowed and ice'd in. we all will end up pushing each others cars out of the lot.
3) no operation critical dump. just like critical mass, except of bikes, its all cars, in a traffic jam stuck on burrard bridge causing trouble, havoc, and dying from carbon monoxide exhaust fumes.
i posted in the offtopic because i was looking for even non car related events to put on. doesnt have to be all car related.
one idea i wanted to put on was the outdoor movie theater thing. could be pretty fun, and all we would be doing is watching oldschool movies and car related movies.

With of course a cruise/bbq to cultas lake. Bowling or even
Sell tickets and rent out a place or wings and watch a sporting event
Ufc/hockey for some food and drinks of course. Posted via RS Mobile |

Revs bowling night.
Teams of 4/5/6 or w/e.
Registration fee.
Food/ brev NOT included (cuts down on cost).
One game pratice, second game places you in a ladder/class. And then play within class for 1/2/3rd place. So like 4-5 games total.
Get prizes(money comes partly from reg fee and sponser donations) Posted via RS Mobile |

i like the go-karting idea. TBC is quite cheap now: Sundays 6pm-8pm $10/race, Mon-Thu $11/race.

Revscene Boxing Day Shopping Meet!!
Make a list of who wants what and get members to line up at various stores buying those items! xD
Of course, people have to pay each other back, with money, not with THANKS. =_=
But I really like the outdoor movies idea. Although its getting kinda cold at night now. Are there any drive thru theatres in the lower mainland?

The thing about RS meets is that they're freakin massive so go-karting and bowling just won't cut it

Regular small events would be better. Like beers/coffee every weekend at the same spot.
I had something like this in Ottawa, every Fri/Sat evening there was a couple of know hangouts, ranging from a few cars some nights, to 100s other nights. A Tim Hortons was usually picked as the location cause they have food/drinks and ample parking.... yet I haven't seen a Timmies or Starbucks with a huge parking lot here.

top gear movie night would be AWESOME.
ive talked to cineplex about renting a movie theater out when the next car related movie comes out. that way we get dibs on the whole theater. hell, even thought of playing fnf 1, just for kicks, and purposely put up the subtitles so that everyone can say along those famous fnf phrases...
Toy drive/ food drive is in the works. we'll be contacting our sponsors soon to place a box at their location for all donations.
Twilight drive-in another good idea.
im hoping i will do a bit better planning this year.
