back when i had an old beater with crank windows i used wd-40 and it worked...so i don't recommend using wd-40, but if that worked, this should work and should last longer, on crank windows.

my advice is to be quite liberal with it and crank them up and down quite a few times before expecting any results. When I did it,i didn't notice the change until a few days later.
