Man I'm so sick of Pachelbel's Canon D.....

It's still a wonderful piece of work. Even though it was the only piece he ever wrote that was of any significance. Wonder why that is..........

I've heard so many versions/recordings of it. Some good, some not so good. Shall we compare notes? What instrumentation do you prefer this piece to be played? Traditional? I prefer it to be played slowly. You?

Wow, this is more like a short movie than a commercial. Can you imagine how much it would cost to put in a 4 minute commercial during... say SuperBowl?
It wouldn't even fit, since commercial breaks aren't even that long...

That being said, I enjoyed it a lot as a short movie. But for commercial wise, that was pointless, and had nothing to do with hair.

And I really like Canon D too. Doesn't matter how over used it is. It's probably my favourite piece out of all those old composers era.

I like it played slow in piano and violin. I probably like it played in any instrument, but it doesn't seem as proper.

the general public would just rip a violin out of your hand, smash it on the ground, and beat the shit out of a bum who is playing the violin on the side of the road who for some reason speaks sign language but can play the violin very well. why would she be hated on so god damned much for playing the violin, am I missing something in the asain culture? Like it's against ancient chinese tradition or something to play the violin on fear of reprecussion and being slapped and shit?
