funny u'd say that. I went to a job fair recently and there were so many Asians it's not even funny. I dun feel like I'm in a white country at all. White guys r no doubt a minority. Guess most white guys r employed while Asians r laid off.

This is just a Vancouver thing anyways. If you go past this province its pretty much a different story besides some of the major cities in the east.

The OP needs to move to Winnipeg or Regina or something. I'm sure he'll be happy there.

Metro Vancouver's 27% Asian.

West Asian is Persian. South Asian is Brown. Other is other. Mixed is not automatically Asian either.

All non-white ppl put together is 42% so it's impossible for Asians to be 40% even if you group Brown ppl into it.

Asian is too general a word that it doesnt really mean much. terms like East Asians which includes the Chinese, korean and Japanese, and South East Asians which includes the Philipinos, Vietnamese and such should be used.

Back to the topic, what's wrong with having Asians in Vancouver, we bring in loads of money to boost up the economy and education. Who do you think are buying houses, cars, groceries, clothings and finishing college here?
