wrong forum for options.
Comparing apples and oranges. One is a sedan and one is a suv. the Rav4 is 4wd, not AWD.

rav4, 97-00 is basically the same with 2dr and 4 door options.
Jetta 1.8T came in various of packages as well in this era from 99-03, my brother has a wolfsberg and it was a mechanics' nightmare

it all narrows down on what you are looking for.
