There was one just like the red Esprit posted a few blocks from me a few years ago. It had a flat tire and one window was covered in plastic. Looked like an 82-84 ish. I knocked on the door a couple of times and no answer. I wanted to buy it as a project car. Then driving by one day it was gone. Sux.

The lightweight sports car segment is now handled by Elise/Exige/Evora.

The Esprit is probably marketed to match the upper segment from there fighting F458 and LP560 class.
