External HD + PS3
 
I have a 500gb external drive and PS3 won't recognize it. From what I read I need it to be in FAT32 file system?

Does anyone know how and what program to use to get this done?

Uhh yea I did which lead me to this post. Seems like some methods work and some don't so I thought someone here has done it before sucessfully.

But I appreciate your useless post. I guess you didn't get your tub of butter or lard today.

So you still didn't get it after a Google? Even going to Wikipedia has a link to a line command that will format any drive to fat32.

So my post was totally helpful, you are just helpless :lol
