Thankfully I havent gotten any dings from them parking next to me. But yeah, it really cant be avoided. Just hope that you dont park next to an asshole

even if you do that, you'll always have an idiot parking beside you

does it work with small dents like size of pencil tip?

Won't work on small dents, only large dent where a whole panel has been pushed in. The principle behind it is expanding (heatgun) and contracting metal (liquid nitrogen), its not as effective for small spots as it would be for a whole panel.

I've been pretty lucky insofar though

I try to avoid spots next to shopping cart return places because I'm paranoid of people losing control of the cart and hitting my car :\
I usually try and find spaces with curbs/islands next to them then park a few cm's away from the curb so there's almost 2' between the car beside me.

Whereabouts in Ontario? Im in Ottawa and I have a dent!

I always carry around a few bricks and place them besides my car so people will wreck their car before they wreck mine :P.

Seriously I love to park besides the kid who park their car super far away, especially the kids who have multi colored body kits on their civics :D

Bump
Seriously can't people park just a few more inches away? it's not like theres a yellow line in front of this asshole and its residential so no signs. On top this fucker dings my car. For what? Plenty of space around and you run into my car.

do i see a dent on ur bumper from his screw?
call icbc and report his ass, make him pay

Methods i use to prevent dings/scratches

1. I park where not much people are parked (Far away stalls)
2. Never park beside shit boxes or scratched/dented cars.. (If they dont care about their car, what makes you think they care about yours)
3. Try to park beside a wall or post and as close as possible so it gives the other side alot of space
4. Dont park anywhere near shopping carts (kids riding on them recklessly)
5. Avoid parking under a tree

U could just get those magnetic strips and put them up when your parked.

I just got my car fixed by Dent King. These are the three dents that were fixed.

Brian is the boss there and Chad is his worker. Chad fixed all 3 in 1 hour with nothing but a stick and a hammer. Nice and friendly guy. Got them all fixed to the point where there is no evidence of previous damage. Highly recommended over Dents Unlimited because of their location (Vancouver vs somewhere far away). Price was roughly $200.

Dents unlimited got all my dents out but they left a couple of interiors loosened slightly (broke the tabs)
