el front conversion

I was thinking of doing this conversion for me car.

Not sure if its a pretty easy job or not.

Anyways my question is where could i go to find this conversion and how hard is the conversion to do?

roughly how much should this conversion cost me?>

1st gen or 2nd gen EL?

Should be straight forward since it's just hood, headlights, fenders, and bumper.

What car do you want to do the conversion to?

I think he wants front-door lambo conversion

A straight forward conversion will be around 1300 to 2000 with offshore parts depending on the velocity of custom work that needs to be done. From my exp. EL conversions are fairly easy..the only issue is the mounting of the headlamps and the front bumper otherwise its not too complicated!

Mr.Jay 11-17-2009 11:58 AM

yea for a 96 civic

just like the pic alex has up

thats pretty $$$ for a conversion

eighty8design 11-18-2009 09:47 AM

Any conversion is $$$ if you get it done professinally....doing the job yourself should cut the price in half but it depends if you can do the work yourself or not!! I would not suggest anyone to do a facelift conversion by themselves if they haven't done one before!!

it looks better on an EM1... not so hot on a EJ6.

not feelin it bro..

Mr.Jay 11-27-2009 08:25 PM

really? ive never really been a fan of roundish lights on small cars.

Ive seen DIY guides on this and it looks pretty simple. Just finding all the parts would be a bitch plus i am pretty broke ass right now

you could do a 99-00 front end conversion
or just add eyelids if you're lazy, but EL front end doesn't even compare to the original look of an EK9
