Romantic Spots on Burnaby Mountain

I've tried searching but most people have just said "Burnaby Mountain" without mentioning certain spots or places. However, I've never actually been up to Burnaby Mountain before, so I have no idea which spot(s) would be romantic and have a nice view of the city, but I do know it's by SFU.

So are their any really romantic spots up at Burnaby Mountain that you can bring a girl to? Could you give me some directions and/or google map on the specific location/spot?

If you don't want to disclose your "secret" spot, you can PM me, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Edit: So it seems like miss_crayon closed my previous thread, I've already pm'd her about it but it doesn't seem like she wants to respond. So I'll just state it here, their hasn't been a thread directly dedicated to spots on Burnaby Mountain, most people have just said "Burnaby Mountain" in general and I'm not asking for Romantic Spots in or around Vancouver. I've used the search function already, so if you could find me a thread that lists all the romantic spots on top of Burnaby Mountain then feel free to close this thread.

just go to the beach, that's romantic and no uphill drive

BBYMtn is nice in the summer.. You can have a picnic on the grassy fields by the totem poles.. Or you can venture up a bit, and you'd have a mini rose garden (semi-secluded) with park benches..

November's probably not the best time to there since it'll be windy and wet (the rain/leaves, not the girl)

OH, and the easiest way to get there is to head east on Hastings towards SFU.. Before you hit the Garglardi intersection, you should see a green sign pointing left to the Horizons Restaurant/burnaby mtn park.. you can't miss it..

you do realize google maps would give you directions on how to get up there instead of being an ass towards people.

go along hastings, u will see the signs to head up to sfu. as u go along that route, u will see the turn off 1/3 up the first hill up towards sfu.

burnaby mountain is literally a big parking lot, and a restaurant.

so unless you plan on having sex or making out, outside of car, in public, the parking lot is your only solution.

if you do plan on having sex or making out, outside of the car, then go walk around and take your pick. beware of the old grumpy burnaby parks n rec's guy, he will tell you to gtfo if you are doing anything outside of just parking. also, please pick a spot that isnt in plain view, especially in plain view of the patrons of the horizon restaurant. The restaurant up there has a nice view.

if you made the trouble of actually going to the location first to check it out, google searching for pictures, you will notice that when ppl say burnaby mountain, its pretty straight forward as to what is available up there. its not like asking for whats a good restaurant to go to in vancouver. burnaby mountain is straight forward and choices are limited. miss crayon is doing her job, no need to be snotty about it. if this has ruined your sexual romantic experience, may i suggest viagra, sex tapes, adult toys, and various other adventures to regain your erection. feel free to check out our NWS section for further suggestions.

To SG!: Thanks, I understand that and thanks for your suggestions! :)

No I'm not planning to have sex there, more like talking and possibly making out ;) I was just looking for spots on top of Burnaby Mountain that has a pretty good view/scenery(in general) since most people have said "Burnaby Mountain is a great place to watch sunrise/sunsets" so I would assume it'd have a nice view even if the sun has already set and the sky is pitch black..or am I wrong? lol
