Do you put 'locks' on winter tires?
 

worthwhile to 'lock' up steelies? reason why i ask is because I cant use my standard lugs so i need to get those conical ones...should I get a locking kit also .. i mean.. who the heck steals steelies???!!!! but if it's a bad winter, the tires might be the target?!!!

I don't think people would steal steelies..........if you are really paranoid, buy a set of wheel locks, they aren't expensive.

I run wheel locks just because they work for my rims and steelies so why not

Yes, I just use the ones I use for my regular rims on my steelies.

Thieves will steal anything of value if you let them.

last year in manitoba they had such a bad winter that snowies were sold out and a lot of ppl had theirs stolen....as for here i think you should be fine...but one can never be too safe when it comes to your car....car thieves will steal anything.

Get locks. Sure no one wants your steelies, but it's the tires that are on them.
