You obviously don't know what the fuck you're talking about. That was a legit lawsuit.

i would argue depending how you look at the case...the only valid point would be the fact the temp of the coffee was 120 degrees or whatever the # was..

but c'mon..who doesn't know the coffee is hot and will burn when you order HOT coffee. Also it obviously wasn't the first time she bought the same coffee from McDonalds and of course she thought it was fine before. Just because she was negligent and spilled the coffee on herself causing burns doesn't justify in my opinion her right to blame it on McDonalds.

So now McDonalds has to warn you on every cup that HOT coffee is hot! How ridiculous.

they superheat their coffee so it lasts longer, and tastes better. hence why alot of people like mcdonalds coffee.

CBC should have named this article "The Shame of BC" instead. Since they're getting sued by him anyway

Zyzz 11-06-2009 08:26 AM

In the writ, which doesn't specify what the CBC published or broadcast that was defamatory, Millington says his reputation has been seriously injured, he has suffered embarrassment and distress, and has been brought into public ridicule.
Guess what, buddy... I think you should sue yourself next, because your lawsuit just multiplied the embarrassment and public ridicule you're going to get.
