where can you buy double side tape for install lip kit
 
what kind of double side tape is good to install a lip on a civic

where can you buy them at? lordco? Canadian tire?

I got mine from home depot

got that high end 3m stuff so it wont "fall off"

Don't buy it from Home Depot.. they are not automotive grade.. what you want is this:

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tapes

http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/e...er/output_html

KMS Tools should have it, Canadian Tire might have it. Lordco will have it at the Maple Ridge paint location.

Remember to do it when it is warm outside since part of the adhesive is heat activated.

Will this leave residue to deal with when removing it?

If so I'll just mount it with screws in that case...

they have that at home depot and it does not leave a residue, look for 3m clear tape with red backing

but I used that AND screws.....

automotive 3m double sided tape.

red plastic backing, grey material.

GO TO LORDCO!!!! 3m is the best way to go but all and all.. tape is tape!

Hell no. There's a noticeable difference between 3M and other products.
