Abramovich is a Jew in the Russian Mafia though so its no surprise that he's ballin outta control

Harvey Specter 11-05-2009 02:33 PM

Jay-Z and B dropped $1500 and I think a $500 tip the week before and TMZ was making a big deal about that until Roman Abramovich came around and dropped that crazy amount.

StylinRed 11-05-2009 02:47 PM

tmz went crazy about jay-z and beyonce tipping that LOW? or they thought it was high?

my insanely rich cousin tips the ice cream man $100 (damn cheapskate uncle doesnt share the wealth though)

This is an actual receipt from Nello's in New York City. The customer was Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who had no problem dropping 47k on food and drinks for himself and five other people.

cdizzle_996 11-05-2009 03:39 PM

Unreal.

m4k4v4li 11-05-2009 04:06 PM

restaurant should have waived the 20% grat as courtesy when you drop that much cash.... kind of insulting

when money is nothing to you of course you do insane stupid shit. i was eating dinner with a wealthy family member at a chinese restaurant and usually for desert chinese restaurants hook up something or fruit, but he wanted watermelon and they didnt have any so he gave the waiter 5 bills and told him to go buy him some lmao

moomooCow 11-05-2009 04:14 PM

^ that just sounds like arrogance to me...

Sorry it was a $500 tip on a $1200 bill which is pretty good.

Proof that money doesn't buy class.

underscore 11-05-2009 07:20 PM

^ goes the same for anyone dropping that kinda money, and especially those kinda tips on dumb shit.

m4k4v4li 11-05-2009 09:18 PM

lol well it was in a private booth ( a lot of chinese restaurants have these ) and he pre-tipped all the servers (around 3-4) a bill each right when we got in

might not be classy but as a server if you're gettin that cash I wouldnt give a shit personally

$7K+ tips. WOW!

3xta 11-05-2009 10:01 PM

have u guys seen michael jackson's shopping sprees? their even more retarded. If you watched the bashir interview with him, it showed them going to a mall in LA which had a store that sold tons of antique and arts. There were pillars going for $250,000, paintings at $100,000 and a chess set that cost around $100,000. Michael just went up to everything and was like can i get 2 of these, one of this, do i have this? Ill take that too.

These people need serious money management

I saw that.

But,here's the funny part, the store came to his property a month later with bailiff's and took all the stuff back, because he could not afford to pay for it.

Mj did it just to show off in front of the camera.

underscore 11-05-2009 10:16 PM

These people need to not get paid so much... they keep jacking up the price of movie tickets, blu ray movies, etc to pay the actors and directors and such gobs of money. Sure they're talented but come on. Personally I don't like Nick Cage as an actor but I know some do, does he need to get paid enough to own 12 houses?

dachinesedude 11-05-2009 10:17 PM

when you're a billionaire, 47 grand is worth less than a penny

boss_clad 11-05-2009 10:57 PM

nothing wrong with making a shit load of money and enjoying yourself.

big time actors and actresses work super hard too, most of the time 12hour+ days, in the extreme cold or heat.

its common for celebrities to go overboard, but once you're that rich, spending becomes an addiction.

doesn't anyone on this board have any empathy? quit being so narrow-minded.

underscore 11-05-2009 11:14 PM

garbage men work some rough hours in crappy temps but they don't own 12 houses :lol

yeah it sucks that he's out of cash, but even if he sells everything at a massive loss, he still has tonnes of money. so I don't get why he deserves any empathy. If someone's addicted to spending, go into some kinda rehab. or get like, 2, 3, hell 4 financial guys to lock are your shit in and make sure you're set. I have no empathy/sympathy/whatever for people who have it all and blow it all away.

Harvey Specter 11-05-2009 11:23 PM

I remember watching that MJ video, it was Las Vegas not LA and he said that he purchased a lot of useless crap from that store before.
