Last year we had tons of snow with snow fall warnings almost every week with minus temps as day time highs, this year we have tons of rain with flood warnings with mild temps that might last for most of winter. You gotta love Vancouver weather.

I know where my snow shovel is. It's sitting on the steps to the lunchroom at my work. I brought it to work last year because our parking lot was full of about 3 feet of snow. That was fun, shovelling around snow for 2-3 weeks.

go carpool people you care, so they don't get splashed in cold shower of sewage water. It's the least you could do as a car owner.

A friend of mine who goes to Emily Carr keeps asking me if I want to drive her home to Port Moody. I guess she's not too thrilled about the "inclement" weather we've been having either. I'd tell her to get her bf to drive her, but he doesn't have a car.

On that note, did anyone notice how windy it was last night? Was absolutely howling and battering my windows in my bedroom. The nice thing about 6 windows in your bedroom? LOTS of light, very nice and bright, clean, fresh air in the spring/fall. The bad thing? LOTS of window to get pelted by rain/hail and slammed by wind.

I guess he saw the puddle late and he had good intentions and didnt want to splash the people waiting. But the guy swerved into my lane to avoid the puddle, no signal or anything. I had to brake hard to avoid rear-ending him. What a douche. I hate corolla drivers.
