So basically 700k for a couple running cars and a pile of rusted metal. No thanks, I can think of many other better ways/ cars to spend that kind of money on.

van_driver 11-07-2009 03:43 PM

I know all the mustang people are gonna burn me for this but for 700k id rather buy a murci or slr

Heh. Trust me, that money is well spent. And looking at the spare parts in the barn/garage, there's tons of money to be made back from those alone.

Besides, this isn't the sort of sale geared towards someone looking for a quick car. It's a chance to pick up some real, rare models. I'm sure most of 'em are all matching numbers as well.

thumper 11-07-2009 05:27 PM

some prices (comparison only, not the actual cars in question)...

http://www.shelbymustang.com/past_inventory.shtml

there is a 67 gt500 in that list that sold for a 1/4 million dollars....

but that white GT500KR vert in the barn... if it's real and original, i can't imagine what it would go for :o
