Lifetime warranty! (at extra cost)
 

So I came across this ad for Visions and I noticed in small print that they offer a lifetime install warranty at extra cost. I thought most shops had lifetime warranty on thier installs included in the pricing?

So how much is this warranty? I just thought it was strange. Thoughts? Opinions?

Should be factored into the labour rate already.

Probably just a money grab for them. Most shops offer a lifetime on the installation for the original owner. I know I've serviced some vehicles years later.

If you need to PAY EXTRA on top for quality installation, that kinda explains alot abt the quality of their workmanship don't it? lol

Alot of independants may charge a little more per hour, but we'll usually back it as long as you own the vehicle.

All of the boxes charge more than what we do. It's the nickel & dime game. They advertise something for $400.00, installed. But using the game, you end up paying $800.00 by the time you get to have your car back. How do you think that they can pay their huge overhead? The rent in some of these places cost $75,000.00 a month.
Should the independents play the same? NO!!!!
Independents give superior: service; installation; advice and pricing. We have to in order to survive. People that have been burned by the box stores know this. Now it's time to educate the rest.
