Just got a job, don't like it...AT ALL, what to do? Posting on behalf of a friend, Like the title states, recently got a job, training was provided 2.5 weeks paid. Went into work for the past week and it's been terrible, my bosses hate me, I constantly keep getting in trouble and I feel like leaving, but need the job in order to pay bills. Have you ever been in this situation and if so how did/would you deal with it? |
what is your job btw? you can either get high before or during work or get another job |
Working in a processing plant, manufacturing plastics the bosses are always around, he drinks, but doesn't smoke, but if he did the bosses would know about it. The job market really is down and it's hard to find a job, thus his dilemma. |
theres a thousand mcjobs that pay under 15/h pretty easy shi, marketing firms, sales, etc etc why not start drinking on the job? |
I would feel a little guilty about the 2.5 paid training weeks, but you have to look out for yourself not the company you work for. Personally I would just start looking for a job and when you find another one just tell them you have a better offer. |
shouldn't feel guilty if that's what you really want to do |
if he has bills to pay tough it out while looking for somehting else. as soon as you find something leave. |
Suffer through it, while looking for another job, at the same time. |
who actually likes working instead of sleeping at home? lol |

I think layoffs are around the corner though :( |
if it doesn't pay a lot move on when you find a better job. dont feel bad about training. lots of ppl leave after training, i've seen/heard it happen before. they wont feel bad firing you or laying you off. you shouldnt feel bad leaving to improve your way of life. both sides have to do what they have to do to survive |
ya, either QUIT, Live through it, or find a job while working. u can check out the revscene employment resources or goworkbc.com/ |

to answer your questions 1) I have no idea why, he just seems like he's been in my position before and got into alot of trouble and now since he is one of the new supervisors, he feels like he needs to show his power to feel Superior 2) I'm not really doing anything, I mean I won't be as proficient as the others that work, but he's just always on my back about everything. You know "oh thats wrong, thats wrong, thats wrong, why are you such an idiot" 3)I'm 23 |
