Cats aren't as bad as people think, but they will never be as loyal as dogs.

My wife put it best, I think, after we got our dog: "Cats are great, I love my cats... but cats are boring."

my little dog used to be very excited like that but now she's 13 years old and only her tail shows indication now when you come home. i got this dog for free when she was a baby due to owner moving out of country and i still have no idea what kind of dog it is. only dog i seen similar to mine on tv is that Maria Sharapova canon camera commercial 2-3 years ago. even pet cetra dont know what my dog is call when i take her for a hair cut lol

My dog goes insane like that when we go away for a week on vacation. Apparently he acts all depressed when we're gone or at least that's what my buddy tells me when he house sits. I think he has separation issues because when I'm home he never leaves my side and by my side I mean he lays right next to me and follows me wherever I go. If I shower he's sitting outside the door waiting for me to get out, if I go into the basement to play Xbox he follows, if I mow the lawn he comes outside and watches me from the patio furniture.

Does your mom feed the rabbit? that will explain everything.
My fish goes crazy too when I walk near the tank...;)

My dog also does the same thing everyday not only when i come back from work, but also when I leave for work in the morning....that's because I always give him a milk bone just before I leave, so I think he is usually happy to see me to go in the morning. :haha:
