the part where it says by 2049 a $1000 can exceed the entire human speicies computation skills is a bit far-fetched..yes we've been growing at an exponential rate...but eventually that rate will start slowing down.

We're on a curve, I suspect, and eventually we will plateau and get to the point of diminishing gains. We've changed focus from CPU power to bandwidth capability. We will shift again, but I have no idea where to.

Organics, instead of running just 2 states, 0 and 1, it can have a ridiculous number of states, almost like a hybrid of digital and analog.
