Sigma 50mm f/1.4 vs Zeiss Planar 1.4/50 T* ZE

I am debating which lens should I get. Read a lot of reviews and test saying the sigma one has a sharper image quality

http://forum.xitek.com/printthread.php?threadid=591519 (Chinese)

But read some books talking about lenses saying the Zeiss has better built and color quality.

Also consider the sell back price of zeiss and sigma. After all Zeiss is a better established brand. And the new zeiss 1.4/50 ZE for EOS has fixed the aperture issue (you can now set your aperture on camera and not on the lens)

Yet the Sigma is cheaper and have AF. That actually is not a big problem to me as I don't really do sports. But please do put it into consideration.

It is a big debate for me as which one to get. Have anyone tried either/both lens(es) Would want to know more about the two lenses.

I can try the sigma one out in boardway camera, but not sure where can i try out the zeiss lens. Anyone know where i can get that in Vancouver?

Thanks~

the zeiss has "differnt" bokeh.

honestly people swear by their sigma's. Compared next to a noct the differences are so tiny, that for the price the sigma is a steal.
