Recommend me a jacket Need a jacket for the winter, waterproof + hood would be good want something a bit thicker too preferably under $300 Posted via RS Mobile |
I have a Columbia Titanium jacket I bought 2 years ago. Alright, but when it's raining hard, the water gets near the elbow areas. I wouldn't buy Columbia again, as I already bought one previously. If you want something waterproof then you have to look elsewhere. These thicker snow jackets are not really waterproof. They hold out the water, but not that well. It's the material in the jacket. I have a HH (real waterproof) jacket you can get it at Mark's Warehouse for like 50 or 60 bucks. Combine that with a fleece jacket, and it's super warm. |
I would have to say gortex, the material is hands down, the best for a windbreaker jacket, warm and comfortable and also u will not feel water against ur skin unlike most other jackets, price ranges tho, so u gotta check....i even heard they made a bape gortex jacket... a bit cheaper would be bench jackets tho im still looking places that sell them cheap.. |
^ BUMP! Looked at the gore-tex stuff, but their insulated jackets are pretty meh Looked at Ssense, no size, but wanted a canada goose chilliwack jacket wtf only XL's left?!?!?! Considering the north face gotham |
i have a north face gotham, the jacket is THICK, too warm to wear in 5+ temps |
BEST jackets ever.....SPYDER, but im pretty sure their double your price range http://cdn3.ioffer.com/img/item/964/...dyq1jTl021.jpg |

Went to check out jackets at the north face store on 4th yesterday, surprised not much selection and size availability, jackets were uncomfortably thick >.< Tried the gotham and the ice Might end up heading to the outlet store in the states. |
