acura cl stalling problems
 

i have a 1997 acura 3.0 cl.
From time to time for about a year and a bit now, my car just turns off.
iv had this happen going like 30Km/h iv had this happen on the highway, and in between.
i just wait a second and put car in Neutral while still rolling and turn the car back on.
Anyone have this problem before or have a possible solution?

with the engine running, give the key in the ignition switch a wiggle and jiggle, and see it it stalls

Is the dash still lite up? (check engine light, brake light, battery light?) It could be an ignition switch like what Puck Luck said.

yeah when the engine is running just shuts off.
i had my car stolen about year and a half and since then i noticed that it even happens.
The dimmer switch for the lights for the interior is kinda loose.
the encasing is cracked and when i drive the lightsflicker from light to dark.
but i didnt think that this would be the problem of the car stalling.
