I can`t believe 10.5 +18`s on 275`s are just flush on an EVO X. So much room to for an aggressive set-up on these cars.

Kev

Well I'm only riding on 245/40/18 tires (stock). It'll definitely be more flush if I go 265 or 275/35/18 + a fender roll. :)

Top Gear Top Tip: Take that SFU parking pass off before you do those photoshoots.

Leopold Stotch 11-20-2009 02:15 AM

i think the spoiler looks nice

maybe a few inches lower. but its how he wants it

although i'm not a HUGE fan, i think a TA stripe would look nice. just to offset the black on black.

and are the front and rear bumpers stock? either way they compliment the car very well.

Nice wheels, you're lucky you didn't get kicked out for taking pictures at Aberdeen because I did once :lol.

Mugen EvOlutioN 11-20-2009 11:09 AM

not bad, but wing is too big

Yeah we got kicked out too :P, i guess you need to go there when there are less people/late at night.

Also, the wing is awesome but i mirror the response here that it is too high, at least visually.

too many busy lines and pictures appeared to be too busy with all the signs and parking lines....

J-Kilo 11-20-2009 12:35 PM

whoa nice ride =]

Spectre_Cdn 11-20-2009 12:44 PM

You could have left the plates white instead of photoshopping your friend's shop name in for advertising...

hal0g0dv2 11-20-2009 12:46 PM

nice bench

dogeatcookie 11-20-2009 04:56 PM

i think your car will look better with a lower stance and a more "extrovert" bodykit to match that wing. lulz

Jackygor 11-20-2009 05:02 PM

Looking good ray. Keep up the good work and get a lip :)

optiblue 11-20-2009 05:29 PM

good looking car~ am I the only guy who likes mudflaps? haha

jing 11-20-2009 06:16 PM

1st person locally with 11R's?

!SG 11-20-2009 06:22 PM

9.5 wide +20s on the fronts are pretty impressive.

rprime 11-20-2009 07:36 PM

nice ride, i like the wing to, but you need a voltex lip up front to match the wing, not for winter driving of course

124Y 11-20-2009 11:09 PM

Thanks again for the comments guys!

I'm already scraping here and there, so I don't really want to lower it anymore since I DD my car. I'm planning on getting a front lip, but since winter is coming, I'll wait it out unless I find a good deal on one.

I don't know if I'm the 1st 11R owner locally, but I haven't seen these locally so far.
I realized that this isn't exactly the best "photoshoot", but my friend and I just wanted to take some quick shots on the day I got my wheels mounted to show some of our friends.

TRDood 11-21-2009 12:15 AM

spotted your car at the no.3 blenz.

get a 5 inch carbon fiber lip

hotong 11-21-2009 01:37 PM

nice

hk20000 11-21-2009 03:21 PM

but then that wing doesn't work visually if it's any lower.

Any lower it'll look like an APC wing. Although like someone posted the factory wing is all fine and dandy as it is but if you are going to go for a ballin' wing you might as well hang it high.

elkayem 11-21-2009 04:24 PM

Shoulda waited till there's no cars in the parking.

But ew evo...
..jk. Hahaa, nice pics and nice car!

Well I wouldn't have changed my wing if I could get my hands on an MR wing... the GSR wing doesn't really work for me lol... it was either wingless or MR wing. But I figured if I wanted to go with a wing, mind as well go BIG. But then again... a lot of people don't like GT wings on street cars (hell you even put a pic of my car in the hall of shame XD), so maybe I should have just went with the MR wing... it could've saved me a few bucks as well ><.
