is there a big difference between runing 17s and 18s?
if not much differecne, would it be cheaper to get 18s on OEM rims?

i need something affordable, dont need runflats

lots of members on e90post and other car forums will suggest you to buy from the states, ship it to point roberts and pick it up there.

17's will cost you a few hundred less, unless there is some deals going on with 18's. Of course 18's will look better , but i think 17s is the way to go.

Tirerack is a good place to look for winter packages, you can probably find a nice set of winter rims + tires for under 1000 even after the tax and levi and custom charges while crossing the boarder.
