| Shattered Horizion (zero G FPS)
a friend sent me a guest pass for this game on steam, its fucking incredible.
watch the video it explains everything http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd-2dZMDAGw
$20 on steam Quote:
About the Game
Shattered Horizon is the highly anticipated first game from Futuremark Games Studio that immerses you in the cold reality of combat in space like no other game before.
This multiplayer first-person shooter is played entirely in zero gravity. A catastrophic explosion on the Moon has filled near-Earth space with billions of tons of rocky debris. You and your friends will join intense 32 player battles to control hollowed-out asteroids, huge fragments of Moon rock and the ruined remains of the International Space Station.
With simple and intuitive controls, you have complete freedom of movement in the distinctive zero gravity environments. Not only can you use your rocket pack to fly anywhere but you can also land on any surface to attack your enemies from unexpected angles.
Shattered Horizon challenges you to take your FPS skills to the next level adapting what you have learned on the battlefield to create new tactics in a fully three dimensional battle space. With your rifle at the ready you can handle anything the enemy can throw at you. But if you let go of your gun, chances are you’re already dead.
* Multiplayer first-person shooter set in near-Earth space 40 years from now
* Experience intense zero gravity combat and complete freedom of movement
* Use your rocket pack to fly freely through space and then land on any surface

* Familiar and intuitive FPS controls let you take full advantage of the zero gravity environments

As good as the game looks, their fanbase is going be tiny if Win7 is a requirement. If they were smart they would've designed for XP too instead of alienating 90% of PC users.

no winXP is going to kill majority of their sales
you might think having a small fan base is nice but ultimately less sales = less support for the game.

i've had it since it came out, yeah the concept is cool, you need a crazy computer to run it at max.
ummm, it gets a bit old fast cuz there's only really... one thing u do.
it takes a bit to get used to, it's so fucking disorienting, sometimes you guys can fly right past each other in a fire fight, then you're both unable to locate one another again LOL, everyone's looking in the wrong directions. it's so funny.

So this is an endless firefight between different factions? Like Battlefield? Also can you use any other weapon beside that gun?
