FS/FT: 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD *updates&price drop I got this car in partial trade for my old Evo. My intentions were always to sell it to try and pay off some of my loan left from purchasing the evo. Then I started to fall in love with it and have been toying with whether or not I want to sell it... But I need to do it before I fall in too deep! (anyone who drives a dsm knows this feeling!) I hope someone on here will give it a good home rather than some random teen who will blow it up haha. 1990 Eagle Talon - 2.0L Turbo inline 4cyl. DOHC AWD. The engine is a 1991 (6bolt, the good engine that doesn't crankwalk all the time like the 2g 7bolt) with 170,000km and a 4g67 cylinder head (8.3:1 Compression). The tranny, transfer case, and 4-bolt rear end are all out of a 1992 Talon. Stage 3 Six puck clutch, Powerslot rotors w/ hawk pads, Walbro 255HP fuel pump, New ECU w/ replaced caps, Front mount intercooler, 3" turbo back mandrel bent exhuast, Evo 3 exhaust manifold, k&n air intake, strut braces front and rear, Balance shaft elimination kit, manual boost controller (boosts up to 17psi), 1gb rear bumper and taillights(really cleans up the rear end and looks great), Carbon Fiber hood, air/fuel and boost gauges in an a-pillar gauge pod, new water pump, timing belt, mitsubishi head gasket, new oils and fluids (transmission, differentials, transfer case, engine, coolant), Retrofitted R134A Air conditioning, works amazing! Heat blows very quickly as well! Akuza 15" rims wrapped in nexen low profile tires. Stock 16" Eagle Talon rims come with the car along with 2 sets of tires for them: 1 season old winters and maybe one season left all-seasons. The car has a few quirks that i can explain better in person and i'm constantly working on getting them all worked out. But it needs nothing, and will be the most reliable dsm you will ever get into. The guy who built it up (Brett Haviland) is a DSM buff and built it to be a fun and reliable dd while his 13 second ugly purple dodge colt did the track time. The body's got a few dents in it but is in great shape for an almost 20 year old car. A good touch up and wax and polish would make it look like new again. The interior is definitely seeing the wear of 20 years of use but the seats are comfy and hold you tight still and aren't going to fall apart on you. And honestly? a good interior detailing would make it look stellar again. There is no deck in the car right now, but there will be by the time you get behind the wheel. I'm sure there are some other things i'm forgetting but come check it out if you're interested and i give you the run down and take you for a spin in a 13.0 second daily driver :D http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._6816567_n.jpg I'm asking $4000. I'm also open to trades or trades plus cash. But Preferably something involving cash as I'm trying to pay off a loan. Check out the sketchy walkaround video i made: http://www.facebook.com/photos/?ref=...v=304377415380 And all the photos are here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...0&l=02da1d36de UPDATE::: Brand new battery and altenator and dropping the price to $4000! :( |
