Yup, so when you are all sitting in a circle and introducing yourselves, make sure you stand up, walk towards the center and make eye contract with everyone.

Yeah. The key is to be different. Who wants to look like all the other drones? I've been to a few in the past where most of the time, you'll get groups that don't say anything when the interviewer is asking a question. Jump on those opportunities!

Okay, no need to be an asshole.

mas604 11-25-2009 01:18 AM

pay must suck there, thats probably why he refers to it as mcjob. So what is that pay?

bcrdukes 11-25-2009 12:37 PM

So what if the pay "sucks?" And you already assumed that the pay sucks there. Why do you even care by asking what the pay is like?

Face it. It's retail. It's probably a part time job for the OP or looking to gain some work experience. People need to start somewhere.

nabs 11-25-2009 05:33 PM

starting pay is actually pretty decent for a retail position. great discounts too for employees.

I'm not gonna justify myself applying or working there. i think its a great opportunity.

---------------------------------------------

the interview went great! on the way to the interview room, i dashed a little forward to talk to the hiring manager, talked to him about work and stuff, and it was really good, he got to know me and i got to know him right off the bat, so i had an advantage over everyone. nobody was volunteering for role playing but i was the first one to get up and took advantage of the situation.

I feel it went well... lets wait a couple days see if i get a call back.

What's the concensus on calling back after an interview? I had what I thought was a great interview at GUESS? and never heard back from them, lol.
