oh I know... haven't bought anything from them for years... the prices have slowly been climbing... rumor is they are bringing a scirocco to the states though...

They aren't, they've said over and over again that it would cannibalize Golf/GTi sales because the North American market dislikes hot hatches to begin with.

^ They can bring it if they price it differently. The Scirocco could cost a pretty penny compared to the GTI. I wouldn't be surprised if they priced the Scirocco at 35-36 base and up to the 48-50s fully loaded. :)

that or make it a limited run or special edition... Hell bring in only the scirocco R...

^ Exactly. Make it a limited run and bring in the Scirocco R only. Lets say. 3000 Scirocco Rs to North america. People would buy it since it's a limited run etc etc.
