Best fish taco's

Anyone know of a place with good fish taco's?

Had the best ones down in Cali, but don't know anywhere local that does them well.

Please share! :D

The Ahi Tuna taco's at Joey's are ok... but they aren't really authentic mexican. And they are pretty expensive and small =P

And yeah the I watched that Throwdown episode, and those fish tacos did look tasty

Only place I can think of is Taco Del Mar, but they aren't any good. :(

Go Fish near Granville Island has some pretty awesome fish tacos. They use grilled white salmon. I don't know if Go Fish closes for the winter though, since its just an outdoor shack near the docks.

They also have some pretty good fish and chips too. The halibut is much better than the cod.

The tacos at joey's don't taste that great and they're over priced for what it is.

one time cactus club had fish tacos on their menus..surprisingly they were quite good; too bad I can't say that with the other items on their menu.

wtf? white salmon? salmon isn't salmon unless its orange or pink

mazdaboi 11-27-2009 01:26 PM

Salmon flesh is generally orange to red, although there are some examples of white fleshed wild salmon.

I had delicious fish tacos at the Dockside Cafe at the River Rock. (lunch menu) Not sure if they still have it... it was a couple years ago... and the menu isn't posted right now because they're undergoing renovations.

I ordered it at Cactus Club after that and was disappointed.

actually i meant that the reason why eating salmon is so cool is because the flesh of the fish is orange-pink. otherwise, why bother eating it?

I had the Halibut fish tacos at Cactus today.

Overall pretty good, but pricey! $13 for the two taco's, no sides =(

I agree with Go Fish by granville island. They are open year around and the fish taco's can be made with salmon, halibut or tuna.

Their special Tuna w/Nori fish taco is AWESOME

my mission is to go for one of theses tommorow at go fish!
