VW Golf coupé Coupé version of Golf provides cheaper alternative to Audi A5 Sportback and Mercedes CLS. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/images/..._343933_25.jpg http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/images/..._343930_25.jpg The Golf is stretching its appeal! Our sources have revealed VW is considering a coupé variant, badged the Golf CC, to join the new MkVII line-up. And our illustrations show how the premium model will look. Similar to the larger Passat CC, the Golf would provide a downsized alternative to a rash of four-door coupé, which include Audis A5 Sportback, forthcoming A7 and Mercedes CLS. Despite its saloon-like styling, the Golf CC will have a hatchback and folding rear seats to maximise practicality. The interior will feature more premium materials, too, distancing it from the cheaper hatchback version. Whereas the MkVII hatch has been slated for a 2012 debut, the Golf CC wont make it to showrooms until two years later. Read more: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/au...#ixzz0XnOHgqT6 |

Maybe I'm just old but 4dr /= coupe |
Why don't they just bring over the Scirocco and make a 4 door version out of that |
Ugly........ |
that doesnt look very good |
to me coupe means 2 dr but in 2009 coupe means 4 dr...WTF !?!?!?! |
do not want...stupid 4dr coupes lol....4x4 height syndrome runs in the familiy |
Coupe with 4 doors? |
i thought coupe = 2 dr? personally i dont think its that bad. i kind of like it. |
Frigging fail, they are turning it into a Jetta. |
a boat like SUV crosstour with overly large wheels and a high centre of gravity. this is pretty ugly. |
so VW is pretty much renaming their entire line of cars with a prefix of Golf? Tourag will become Golf SUV, Tiguan will become Golf crossover, and Passat will become Golf Deluxe soon? Maybe if we close this window, it will go away. |
i really like the colour |
